School Christmas Pageants Can't Post

Anyone had success doing school plays/pagaents as a supplement to your wedding income? Any tips or tricks to it? Thanks.

Wedding income, huh? hmmmm... That's a good idea, I never thought about that. I just cut costs. Got my wedding dress from a thrift store for 10 dollars around Halloween time. The dress is a hand made dress from the 50's and absolutley gorgeous. Hubby just wore a suit. No one officiated our ceremony, we did it ourselves. All in all, I think the wedding was under $1000 dollars, yet it didn't look it. ;-)

For five years I videotaped weddings, dance recitals, ballets, school plays, sporting events, corporate meetings, etc.
There's great money in it. We'd shoot two cameras, mix it live, and just add a title at the beginning in post production so it would be immediately ready for duplication.
We'd charge per copy and the school would guarantee a certain minimum orders to cover the cost of production, salaries, and tape stock. Any more than the minimum was pure profit. We'd usually have a minimum of 40 at $20 each and sell between 60 - 100.
Let me know if you have questions.
Good luck!!!

Don't limit yourself just to plays/pageants: there are other school functions,
especially in the elementary education levels, and parents love to have a record
of anything their children do in their early years...(i.e.- earth day (in april), etc...
