Starting a new local PVA	Can't Post

I'm thinking of trying to organize a local PVA, since the one closest to our area really covers the next state and their closest meeting location is about two hours away from our city. There are enough professional videographers in this area that I think it would be worthwhile, but I'm not sure where to begin other than contacting the other companies around and guaging interest. Does anyone have some pointers on how to get started with something like this? Thanks for any ideas/help.
