Stipened pay? Can't Post

My girlfriend is a Art Director who was recently contracted to work on a feature film.
She's making far below her day rate which is $100 a day.
In her contract it states that if assuming the film sales she recieve stipened pay.
What exactly does stipened pay mean?

Basically it's a token paycheck. Not much money at all. Usually just enough to cover essentials during a shoot, like meals and lodging. If her usual rate is only $100 a day, she's working pretty cheap. I doubt that she'll see any money even if the film sells. Accountants have many ways of hiding income. There are a lot of "expenses" that will have to be paid first.
