The Buisness of Business Videos Book Can't Post

Is there anyone out there that has redesigned the book from Hal's course that would be willing to share. I really want to condense it into a smart looking 18 page booklet, just looking for some ideas on what others did and how it's worked for them. Sorry accidentally posted in wedding forum.
Thanks

Re: [HDMedia1] The Buisness of Business Videos Book [In reply to] Can't Post

I've used the book pretty effectively over the years. In fact, it's still part of my marketing mix. It's been revised no less than 100 times in the past 7 years but it still works as a great lead generator.

I think it's important that you revise the book to match your business. If you are new to business, you can just about use it exactly the way it is. Just be sure to really get well-versed in all it talks about so you don't look like an amateur when talking to prospective clients.

I put a "request our Business of Business Videos eReport" link in my newsletter and when people request it, my marketing manager calls them to verify their information and to talk with them about their business and possible video needs. I also send it to all new clients before we begin work on a project. I ask them to read it before coming to the project kickoff meeting. This helps them come to the meeting prepared so I don't have to spend a lot of time explaining the production process to them.

I've also had some success by sending it to local media. The eReport established us as the local expert and we've been featured in several articles over the years as a result.

I could go on for days regarding all the ways you can use the report. The key is to make it reflect your business and to figure out all the ways you can leverage it in your marketing efforts.

For those who don't know "The Business of Business Videos" is an 18 page booklet you offer to corporate, non profit, and small business clients as a way to attract new clients and convince them you are the company to hire. This booklet is part of the much larger home study course entitled Professional Video Producer described at

Hundreds of producers have successfully used this course to make good profits in the business video world. Business videos are very much like commercials. They can be very creative, but they're longer than commercials.
