VIDEO MASTERS INC. Can't Post

Does anyone know about Videomasters Inc. which offers a "business affiliate opportunity" in video production etc.
They want $30,000 to start which seems very high.
Any one have experience with them or know anything about them.

Re: VIDEO MASTERS INC. Can't Post

I checked out their website. Half of that $30K is for an equipment package. The basic package, with no equipment, is $15,500.
Normally, I'm very negative about these video business franchise operations, but this one seems to be on the level. It's a simple matter of time vs. money. If you can spend the time to research, try out, and refine your marketing, sales, and production techniques, then you're better off saving the money and setting up your business solo. If you are a "newbie" in video, and want a big head start, then you can pay the fee for the training and support offered by Videomasters.
I don't believe that Videomasters has any "name brand" recognition, so you're not buying a name, like McDonalds. What you are buying is an educational package, covering both business and technical aspects of the small video business, plus an optional turnkey equipment package (they have several levels of this).
The only thing I didn't see on their website was how much after-sale support they offer (and whether it's better than forums like this), and what exactly is included in their equipment packages.
Regards,
Doug Graham
