Video Marketing Success Stories Can't Post

I've been in the business for 25 years, making tv commercials most of the time. I'm recently on my own, still doing commercials, but I'd like to do more sales and marketing videos.
I'm looking for information (articles, anecdotes, statistics, videos) which tell of the advantages and successes of marketing through the use of video. I'm targeting small to medium sized companies who would use a video as a sales & marketing tool.
Plenty of prospects, just not enough evidence of video's success.

Re: Video Marketing Success Stories Can't Post

I've been producing sales/marketing videos for about 13 years now.
It's a little difficult to provide any real numbers in terms of increased sales when companies use video because these companies rarely give us any figures. However, they keep coming back to me to produce more videos so I would say that they're working.
Several years ago I produced a "buyers guide" video about kit cars. I mentioned in the video that I personally owned a car manufactured by a particular company. Later, this company told me that their sales nearly doubled after my video came out.
IBM has been one of our clients for many years. We produce quite a lot of marketing material for them. The latest trend is that we interview customers that use a particular software bundle manufactured by IBM. We then burn the video onto a CD that IBM then sends or gives out to IT managers worldwide. Evidently, this format is quite successful as we are quite busy producing more videos for IBM.
