Voice over talent Can't Post

I'm trying to find a voice over artists. I've found a few sites online and a few different guys, but its kind of overwhelming to pick one. Just wanted to see if anyone here had a recommendation for someone they've used in the past. Its for a how to video.

Hi Wes,

I would try local theater groups and possibly radio and TV stations. All of my voice over talent has come directly or indirectly from these sources. Theater groups have been the best. You will find one or more people in these groups that knows every talent in your county. Be nice to this person.Smile

Sounds like good ideas, and in the future if I can stay doing some corporate work, I will probably go that route. For this project, I'm looking to get it done as quick as possible, with as little work as possible. I'm already doing more than I charged for, but I didn't anticipate the wind and car noise we would have at the shoot, so I figure I'll do what I can to get the sound right. Thanks though.

Yeah, my mistake. I don't usually shoot outside, and I've never done a video like this before, so I was a little nervous I guess trying to remember if I had everything I needed and thinking about how the shoot would go, that I just did not think about the wind, or the car noise. Lesson learned. This company got this video for pretty cheap, and I'm not charging anything to go back and redo the audio twice(first time we redid it with the guy from the company, but they didn't like that very much and decided to hire a pro)

Here is a photo montage we did for a client where we used local radio talent for a voiceover. We have used this guy for other stuff. Let me know if you want his contact info. He is pretty reasonable with his rates.

Jim Jakala is almost the only one I ever need:

He's a great friend and certainly the most versitile VO dude I know of. He offers same day turn around and very competitive prices.
tell him I sent ya.
