What to charge for DVD authoring Can't Post

Hi,

I have a client who is having a 5 hour seminar shot with two cameras by pro videographers. The footage is being sent to me to edit and author the DVD.

Aside from art work and duplication, what guidelines should I use for quoting the project? Do I just base the cost on hourly NLE rates? What is the current going hourly rate range for NLE?

Thanks,

Brian

Depends on your local market, and what audience the client is trying to reach, and the client's budget and desired level of production values.

I often see editing rates of $50 to $75 per hour for DV material, if that's any help.
