Where do the movies come from? Can't Post

I'm curious as to where these video stores get their videos from. I have actually worked for Blockbuster, Hollywood Video (As a Manager!), and Wal-Mart. All of them, when I had asked, said they come from the respective chains distributors, and they have no clue where it comes from.
I've actually had the desire lately to invest $500 or whatever the wholesell price is for an order and try and sell them online, just to see how it works out, but back to the original question - where do they come from? :)

Hi Casey,
I would not recommend you spend 500 on this type of business.
First you need to contact many video distributors, check their titles
dont get to much PD films better to keep away, (public domaine) 500.00
might get you three or four titles to sell, and that will not fly, unless you
get into specific subjects.
stores like you have worked in buy in large quantity therefore discounts are available.
Buying small in a losing business.
There is a lot of legal problems with PD films. Find a job at a video distributorand learn the business that way.
Good luck, jes
