I need any info on buying 1/2 hour time slots on tv stations, possible on locally owned and opperated stations or lptv staions. (Any where programing time would be avalible) I have not been able to find a starting point. Please, any info in this area would be greatly apprieciated.

Hi Christa,
If you are looking for someone to purchase the time you need, go to
RESPONSEmagazine.com. You will find companies that buy time for informercials. they can probably
help you out. Look under media buyers.
Good luck, Jes

Well, I've personally found it easier to start with cable. Just call your local cable company, and ask them to mail you one of their promo packages.

I would definately check out cable first. As a comparison, if I buy a half hour on a local station, it costs LOTS of money, and the times are very limited (late night). On the other hand, on my cable network (cox), I can get a half hour at just about any time for around $200.00. Furthermore, I get more coverage with Cox, as their channel goes into three states.

I am looking for cable stations to carry a small B-2-B show we
are producing. Initially I need to cover the NY tri-state area.
Later we hope to be in all major markets. Does anyone have any
information that would help. In particular names of cable
stations in this area, New York, New Jersey and Conneticut.
Thank you.
