endless loop Can't Post

So I'm doing a marketing video, and the client wants it on an endless loop in their store. I've never done this before.
Are there enless loop video tapes? Where can I get 'em? If not, do you need a special VCR? Where can I get that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian,
If you are going to have a duplicator make copies of your video, they can loop it for you,
If not you will need to put you footage on a tape, depending on R/T
five or six times and than use the VCR to rewind your tape and replay automatically.
Most VCR's have this function.
A DVD is really good too. you will not need to copy your footage a bunch of times.
Set the DVD player to replay.

You can also copy the master as many times as it will fit on another tape.
If the master is 10 minutes, copy it to a thirty minute tape, 3 times. It will
*appear to be an endless loop, until it hits the end and then most VCRs
will automatically rewind it. But you will have to hit "Play" every thrity minutes.

No, Brian. Unfortunately there is no such thing as an endless loop videotape. Many clients mistakenly assume there must be such a thing and request one. Even many knowledgeable videographers believe they exist. It's like the old urban myth thing, you know "well, a friend of my friend's cousin had one".
Best,
Bill
