exercise video Can't Post

Ive been approached by a personal trainer who wants to make an exercise video. I'm concerned about the possible liability issues with this kind of video. Does any one have any expirience with this type of work?

Personally, I would be more concerned about getting paid to produce the video than any liability concerns. If someone was going to sue because of an injury due to the excersises, they would go after the trainer before they would go after you. You can always cover yourself with a contract that states that you or your company is not responsible for any legal action resulting from someone following the trainers advice. Good luck and remember to collect at least a third of the production budget up front before you begin shooting.

Hi Bill,
VHS is getting smaller and smaller.
DVD decks are under 50 bucks this season, that you might think about a couple of
VHS decks, but look into a tower for DVD/CD duplication.
Buy a good printer for your labels abd DVD insert as well.
The only VHS work out there is infomercial work and more than likely
you will not be able to touch that. Most work at about .50 per tape
in 20 minute blanks.
You can do small run DVD for 2-3 bucks a copy. VHS used to be like that
some years ago.
good luck, Jes
