Some years ago I did a video of a woman who is an Herbal Teacher. I videotaped a weekend workshop she gave. I didn't charge her to videotape her, it was my own idea it was just something I wanted to do. Well years have passed and now she has quite a following. Her mailing list is over 30,000 people. I have decide to edit this video and put it out for distribution. I will retain all of the copyrights and distribution rights.
What would be a fair percentage per videotape sale to offer her? Someone told me 10% of the retail price per tape sale and to also give her wholesale rates for the videotapes/DVD's she buys to sell on her website. She said she would probably start with 100 videos or DVD's. I will also be looking for distributers and selling it on the web myself.
