public access, music videos, and legal stuff Can't Post

Okay. I am getting ready to produce a local public access show to showcase and highlight area bands and artists.

Does anyone have info on what kind (if any) of contract I need to sign with the bands. The songs will be originals and the bands won't be signed bands.

On Music Videos...when shooting in a publc area (i.e. sidewalk in a city) do I need to get each persons permission that pass through my lens? Or do I have to blur faces?

What's more...I have a possibility of shooting a music video for a friend who is signed to a major label. They've done several LARGE scale videos and will be just doing me a favor letting me produce their video for the chance to get some recognition and a foot in the door.
Some questions about how the big dogs do it...
1. will I be in charge of hiring actors?
2. will I be in charge of a make up artist?
3. will I be in charge of procuring a location and rights to use it?
4. Any one have advice on what to make sure to not do or to definitely do to make myself look pro?

Thanks in advance for all the answers!
