raising money for a business	Can't Post

Can you raise venture capital for a video business? I found one group, <a href="http://www.gaebler.com">Gaebler Ventures</a>, near me in Chicago that gives you money and "incubates" you. But they say I need a business plan. I never wrote one before and don't want to waste the time if they don't give money to video businesses.

It's my impression that venture capitalists are looking to invest in new and potentially highly profitable technologies. So this route may not be a good one for you. However, it's always a good idea to have a business plan. You should take the time to write one, and refer back to it frequently.
