video yearbook Can't Post

I have been asked by a local high school class adviser to produce a supplement to their yearbook on videotape. This will be a photomontage of events from February to graduation. I have been asked to shoot stills (I will be using my GL-1) at three of their end of the year events (Prom, Senior Awards Banquet, and Graduation). They will be supplying me with the balance of the photos from other previous school events.
This entire tape is to be no more then half-hour long. I am estimating that I will be using a total of about 300 photos/stills.
As far as the three events, can anyone suggest what the best shots should be. My fear is that I may omit some of the kids, who may end up buying a copy of the tape and would not end up being in it.
I have done many photomontages before but they were always with smaller groups.
I will give the school flyers, which will include order forms. Can someone suggest on what to call this thing, since it will be a supplement to their regular paper yearbook?
Thanks for any suggestions
