webcasting Can't Post

I have a client who would like to have a webcast done he is not sure if he wants to shoot it live or tape it and then put it on his site!
My question is how do I go about doing this is there any good books on the subject or anyone that knows how to go about setting it up! So I do not look like a stooge when I go to the meeting next week!

Re: webcasting Can't Post

Dan,
The easiest plan of attack is to record and place the content on the site for on-demand viewing. I have done over 500 webcasts since 1997. As for books, take a look at the "Streaming Media Bible" by Steve Mack. It's an excellent book.
