yellow pages Can't Post

Does anyone know if it pays to advertise in the Yellow Pages? What kind of ads are most effective in them, and what can I expect to pay? I live in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.
Thanks

Re: yellow pages Can't Post

I began advertising in the yellow pages in March for the first time. I'm in two books covering western, upstate South Carolina. $70 a month for a one-inch column ad in both, color in one. Since March, I've gotten four phone calls and two booked me.
If you're shooting weddings, I'd also recommend renting a booth at a wedding festival to display your videos if a festivaal is in your area. Festivals here cost about $400 a booth. I've done two this year and have gotten 10 weddings so far as a result.
