.3x fish for vx 1000 mounting question Can't Post

ive got .3x fish off a panasonic with the 58 mm threads. but i just got a vx 1000. what are the bad points that im gonna get if i put this on my vx 1000 with a step ring? how much better is the bayonet mount if any?? i just dont know for sure thats why im asking. thanks for any repsonses. this is for skateboarding use.. thanks...tony

The vx1000 has 58mm lense threads so you wont need step up rings. step up rings give you less distortion and less of an angle, well it depents on where your stepping to. skate or die

sh!t, maybe the vx1000 has 52mm lense threads. I'm not lucky enough to have one.......yet. well the step up ring with lessen the distortion we love so much, but step up rings cost like 5 bucks so go ahead and try it.
