6 conductor ribbon for VCR (Not Vwfndr) portion of vx1000	Can't Post

I have lost the vcr control of my vx1000. The ribbon within the tape loading door has been severed. Any suggestions on where I may find a replacement would be appreciated. I hope it's easier than the viewfinder ribbon. Thank you

I have come across the same problem recently, anyone know what to do to fix the problem???
I am using a remote right now to play back footage, but would like to have the manual playback controls operational.
