Acees to deck for cleaning Can't Post
Can someone tell me the correct way to gain access to the tape mechanism on a VX1000 for cleaning of heads and guides.
I am currently using some cotton buds on long wooden sticks normally supplied for cleaning the head assemblies of the old computer type removable media drives (14"). My supplies of these are running out and normal cotton buds are unsuitable (they leave fluff) and are too short and flexible. The best cleaning pads I can find now are also too short to reach the head assembly so I need to gain easier access than the top cassette entry aperture.
