I would like to get a light of some sort that I can attach to my SONY VX2000 camera. Any suggestions?

Sony makes a light that fits the accessory shoe and uses the same batteries as the VX, which snap into the back of it. It is switchable 10/20watts. Model HVL20DW2. Costs about $80-90.

I have that light, and it seems to do really well. One thing I have heard though is that it works better to get some diffusion paper from a photo studio to help cut down the "harshness" of the light. Some people have put things such as white cloth over the light and secured it with a rubber band or something to diffuse the light, but I haven't used my light enough to mess with that part of it.

I have the Sony 10/20 and also a Bescor 20/40 for times when I need a little more light. I use a lumiquest softbox over my Sony light.
