Blurry image while panning Can't Post

Does anyone know what I can do to prevent that horrible blur that occurs when I pan to the left or right or even up and down --- heck, whenever I move the damn camera! --- with a SONY VX2000. What a nightmare. I have been keeping the camera on a tripod and moving the camera very slowly.

Thanks!

Any chance that you might have the cam in stillshot record mode? Over the course of many shoots with the Sony VX series cams, I've never seen the behavior you are referring to. Unsure

Is your shutter speed very low? A you in progressive mode (15fps)?

That is what I would check. Are you in a low light setting where the shutter speed may slow down automatically? Slow shutter speeds will cause this.
