Can VX1000 achieve a &quot;film look&quot;? Can't Post

I recently saw some footage shot with a Canon XL-1 in it's "film mode" setting and it really looked like film. I just bought my VX1000 and was wondering what settings will give a film look. Thanks to all in advance!
