Cleaning VX1000 lens Can't Post

I recently noticed some dust and other marks inside my VX1000 lens. Some months ago tom gave the following useful information which helped me to clean inside the front section:-
Have a look at the lens, you can take off the clear flat protection cover (by peeling off the circular label and using a screwdriver to turn it a 1/8th turn and it will come off), This will give you access to the inside of the protection cover and the outside of the 1st lens element. Clean these if necessary. If the other lenses are in need of a clean it is a bit more difficult - involving major diss-asembly of your VX1000, but can be done --carefully.
I have done this but there seems to be some very fine dull spots inside the front element - hundreds of tiny sub-0.1mm spots that look like dried out tiny water spray marks. I suspect this may be fungal growth. I don't feel confident to further disassemble the lens nor wealthy enough on my pension to have it done professionally. As it does not seem to be having any serious effect I am concerned that I need to inhibit further fungal growth. Can anyone make suggestions. I currently store the camera in a case with a 100 gram bag of silica gel dessicant to keep it dry internally.
Also I would like advice on cleaning agents that won't harm the lens and coating. I used to use Kodak Lens Cleaner CAT 3007168. I don't know what the active ingredients were.
Any suggestions please.
