Connecting LCD monitor to VX1000	Can't Post

Hello All... I'm a new user with a new/used Sony VX1000.
I found a used 5.5" LCD monitor, yet don't know how to connect for a video feed from the camera.
Do I use the video out phono plug on the side of the camera?
