Duplicate Mini DVCAM tape Can't Post

I want to send my 3 hours wedding footage to editting service. I can send them as .avi files or duplicated Dvcam tapes. As for .avi files, I have to capture footage in pc, 3 hours wedding will be 42 Gig, then burn to 8 dvds. Another solution is to have local service duplicate original DVCAM tapes which can be sent to editting service. Does any one know how much they would charge for duplicate 3 hours DVCAM tapes? I don't want to spend money buying a Sony DVCAM recorder, and don't want to send them my original tapes.

Thanks.

If you post your location you may find a local videographer that will do it.

Can you do camcorder to camcorder dubbing through firewire? From DVCAM to a miniDV camcorder perhaps?

Find a friend or friendly competitor with a PD 150 or 170 & transfer via firewire. Make sure the "receive" camcorder is in DVCam
mode.
