Dust on WA PD170 lens Can't Post

After years working with my beloved VX1000 which finally just died, I really enjoy the flip-out screen of the PD170. Trouble is, I can't see the dust on the lens when using it. The WA lens that ships with the camera is especially a dust magnet. What are the best strategies to combat this? Many thanks. Rick

I agree completely and it really bugs me. I always have a few of the lens wipes with me for the times I need them and it works for me.

Periodically check the lense for dust, especially before taking a really important one. Just look at the lense at an angle to see it the easiest. I've gotten burned acouple of times by relying too much on the flipout screen. I've since then learned to check the lense before every important shot. I carry an lense cleaner cloth with me at all times but most of the time you can just blow on the lense to clear it of dust.
