Anyone know of a repacement eye cup for the PD-170 that can replace the flimsy one that comes with the cam?

Have you looked into the i-cuff?

It's not exactly what I was looking for, but I think it might be worth a try. Has anyone used this before?

I recently got one for my vx2000. I'm not too sure if it will fit over the pd170's viewfinder assembly, but it works great over the vx2000's factory rubber eyepiece. Here are some pics: ICUFF on VX2000

Ok, now I see how it works.
Their website totally sucks, that moving picture is a joke.

It will work on the 170, I would have to pull that large useless rubber 747 wing flap off.

50 bucks.... Have you seen anyothers that looked at all decent?

Thanks,
james

I didn't find anything else so I went with this one. Mine is the ICUFF'DV'. I ordered it from EVS for $35. The diameter is about 1.75"-2".

Thanks,

At first, I didn't like the way it looked. I immediately took a marker and colored in the bright orange and blue logo. That made it more acceptable to me.

Thanks,

I bought the iCuff DV and it did not fit my PD170. The velcro strp is too short and the flaps from where it is folded and sewed push the iCuff out of position. I am returning mine to B & H. Disappointing...seemed like a good idea. It's just not there yet as far as the PD170 is concerned.

Cheers,
Scott
