LCD Brightness setting... Can't Post

I'm curious what the Sony users (pd150/170, vx2000/2100) set their LCD bright level to. I'm not talking about the menu setting, but the LCD BRIGHT on the actual display. I have always operated with mine at the full low (down) setting, and of course do all of my manual control utilizing the zebra stipes. I find raising it any higher burns out the LCD image.
