Locking two Sony PD-150's to external SMPTE time-code Can't Post

I need advice as to how to lock two Sony PD-150's to external SMPTE time code being generated from Pro Tools, so that I can edit easily?

I have two PD-150's, and I am doing a two camera shoot, and I am recording audio at the same time to Pro Tools. I am sending SMTPE time code out of Pro Tools into one of the audio inputs on both the PD150's so that I can try to lock the tapes up at a later stage. It doesn't seem to allow me to specify that the audio input is for time code. How can I record SMPTE time code onto the PD150's? What is another way around this dilemna?

Unless I am greatly mistaken there is no way to lock the timecode on two PD150s. You can do this with DSR-300 cameras and other Sony Pro cameras with Genlock/video in and out and timecode in and out.

For multicamera shoots all I do is capture the footage and use the audio waveform to sync the various tracks. Not at all difficult to do with a little practice.
