Lost the VCR playback functions on the VX1000	Can't Post

I have lost the use of the vcr panel, on the tape loading door of my VX1000. I can see that a copper filament, or ribbon is broken. Any suggestions on where I might locate a replacement would be much appreciated. Thank you

the part itself is easy enough to get from sony i think it works out to be about $80.
i lost the same connection about 3 months ago but as i use the search function while filming and then the remote or computer to run playback when editing i didn't really see the need to mess around with it right now.

sorry i don't have the part number it was on the old forums a bit but if you post a question with what you need in the subject line you should get it pretty quick.

The part number from Sony is: 1-473-139-21, It'll cost you $70.00. If you know what you're doing it should take about an hour or two to replace. If you don't it will cause you a lot of sorrow.
