MAVICA CD500 DISC READING PROBLEMS Can't Post

Hello, I am new to this Forum. I purchased a Mavica CD500 in February. Everything worked
fine until vacation time in June/July, when I shot about 8 discs. The last two of these discs
can no longer be accessed.

The message sequence for the first disc is "Disc access", then "Repairing data", then (after several minutes) "Disc error" "C:13:01".

The message sequence for the second disc is the same, except the folder opens with only
1 image being shown (1/1). There should be about 100 images on this disc, shot at 1.2M.

Has anyone had similar problems and, if so, are there any solutions to the recovery of
the photos on these discs? These two discs contain a large number of (to me) very valuable
memories.

It would be great if there is a solution somewhere out there!

Thanks and regards from Toronto!
