It works great, but if you go with this mic, you should buy a shoe adaptor with a pistol grip, Ill post a picture of one if you dont already know what it is. Without it, you pick up (when its quiet) the zoom noise/vibration. Same goes for the mke-300's big brother the me66. I know where there is an example of what Im talking about... goto:

its called the mini-rover, but I wouldnt get this one, as it is expensive, I went to my local camera store and picked up a similar one for 10 bucks. Cheers, Evar
