Microphone went!	Can't Post

My Microphone went on my 1000, anyone repaired this themselves? It just stopped
working, so I cant imagine its much.

This just happened to me also.Have you tried using an external mic? This is what i did and it worked fine. By doing this i know that the problem is in the mic itself and not anywhere else in the camera. Im still stumped as to how to take my mic apart. Can anyone help me/we out??
