New@DV, many questions, please help! Can't Post

I own a VX1000, and a PC w/ Adobe Premiere LE, which I find very complicated to use. Should I upgrade to Adobe 6, or should I buy a Mac w/ Final Cut Pro? Can I use the VX1000 w/ the Mac? I know nothing at all about editing, so I will need to teach myself. I
am making a documentary, so I need the ability to store and edit large quatities of footage. Also: sound...Should I get the Azden XLR w/ 2 mic inputs and 2 lavaliers? Will this work well for interviewing? Other suggestions? Lights? Should I buy all the
equipment myself and learn how to use it, or find someone who already has the equipment? I have no budget. I don't know where to begin....Please offer suggestions!
