No picture coming thru VX1000 viewfinder	Can't Post

I was just recording a session and turned the camera off. About 10 minutes later I tried to turn the VX1000 back on and no picture came thru the viewfinder. The audio level meter still works and everything else. When I look thru the viewfinder it looks like it isnt even powered up, its just a plain black screen. What could be the problem?

The ribbon cable attaching your viewfinder is bad. It will need service.

Yeah? Its weird that sense this happened, after turning off and on again a few times... it will work. But it often messes up again. Its also a problem that when I turn my camera off, the screen stays on. Wierd! I end up having to take my battery out
