PD-150 and VX-9000. Can't Post

Has anyone used the VX-9000? How does it compare to the likes of the PD-150 and VX-2000?

Re: PD-150 and VX-9000. Can't Post

The VX9000 is the DV version of the DSR-200. These two are very comparable. The main difference b/w these and the vx2000/Pd150 is a 3lux sensetivity (VX9000) vs. 2 lux on the VX2000. The other difference is Sony's new Hyper HAD chip on the PD150/VX2000 which reduces smear and low light video noise. The VX9000 has accessible manual controls, white balance (knob), Gain (knob), Shutter Speed (knob). In addition to two knobs for independent control of each Audio channel (2 total). Last difference, Vx9000 is a shoulder mounted cam and has the 1 inch viewfinder usually found on pro cameras.
Good Luck,
Adam.
