PD170 Tape Clean Indicator question Can't Post

I received a head cleaning warning message while shooting on a fairly new PD170. On playback, there was one second of "venetian blinds" at the time the message appeared. The rest of the tape was good and the message went away by itself.
The hours are Operation 30 hrs
Drum run 20 hrs
tape run 10 hrs
threading 60 hrs
I only use Fuji tapes. Other than this glitch, the camera has performed flawlessly.

Is this a normal occurrence at these camcorder hours? Is is better to run the head cleaning tape now or wait and see if it happens again?

I was recording in DV, not DVCam.

Thanks for any feedback,
Mike
