Pinnacle dv500 vs Matrox RT 2000 - opinions please Can't Post

I'd like to be able to edit footage from my VX2000 in native DV mode on my PC. Having used a DPS Perception for years in my now-defunct animation business, I dont think I could live with anything less than being able to preview "full-frame quality" on a TV monitor while editing, so good analag out is a must... Realiability and ease of use, integration with the VX are also very important to me.
The Matrox is more than I really want to spend, and as I'm not doing corporate video's or weddings, the fancier realtime effects like page turns and so on are not important to me.
The DV500 plus seems like a good deal.
What other cards could I consider? Anybody has first hand experience of any of these systems and like to share their comments? I'd really appreciate it...
Thanks
Mickey
