Please reccomend Filters for VX1000 Can't Post

What kind of filters would you use on a vx1000. At the television station I work at I like Tiffen Soft FX1 but I've heard there are certain filters that look awesome on the VX1000. Black pro mist may have been one? Thanks in aadvance,

Okay this may be a stupid question...but can't you just filter it afterwards on Premier or something?

No its not a stupid question. Depending on the effect you want an optical filter may be superior to the digital one. Besides, every effect or filter you apply in you NLE increases rendering time. So if you know what you want to do first, this is probably the best way to go.

Good point and more [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, and keep in mind that when you use a filter on the cam your video is marked for good. If you wait to do it on the NLE then you can do it any which way possible and not be stuck with one effect.
Sure it will take time to render but your options are greater.
