Shawn, I noticed you asked about a minus green card... while I personally think they are a rip off, they are actually very, very convenient ways to adjust your color balance. Generally, they are a card for color balancing that is slightly blue and very slightly green, usually about the equivalent of 1/4 CTB and 1/4 PlusGreen color gel. When you use them to color balance your camera, it is shifted the otehr way - towards the warm. The effect is much like a Tiffen 812 or coral filter. WarmCards sells them on their website at http://www.warmcards.com/, and they offer a well-made, beautifully packaged product. The only reason I think of them as a rip off is that I've been doing the same thing for free for nearly 25 years! Just get some of the afore mentioned gel from a friendly gaffer, and hold the gels over your lens when you color balance... Voila! Also a lot cheaper than the Tiffen filters! BTW, I got a large size Lee gel swatch book, and took out everything except the CTB and PlusGreen gels in 1/8, 1/4 an 1/2 strengths. That way I can vary the amount of warmth I want from shot to shot. Finally, a disclaimer... personally, I wouldn't spend the money for WarmCards, BUT they are more convenient than holding gel over the lens, though not a flexible. Also, as I said, they are beautifully made and well packaged... they are a good product, just not my cup of tea. Good luck!
