Welcome to the new Sony DV & DVCAM Forum Can't Post

If you're a regular visitor to the VideoUniversity VX1000 Users Forum, you may be surprised to see what's happened. In a nutshell, we moved all of the messages from the Forum you knew to this new and improved forum software. If you spend a couple minutes looking around and then log in, I think you'll agree this software is much better than the old software. There's a lot more you can do with it that you couldn't do before. We've also renamed it the Sony DV & DVCAM Forum.

If you have questions or comments, feel free to drop me an email or call me.

Best Wishes,

Re: [hlanden] Welcome to the new Sony DV & DVCAM Forum [In reply to] Can't Post

hey... we just got a SONY DVCAM DSR-45P and we tried to connect it with our MAC G5. Now, the problem is that when we try to connect the DVCAM with Final Cut Pro, there is some problem. See, the clip playback on the Final Cut Pro screen is fine, but the LCD on the DVCAM is not showing it clearly, rather there are so many Black spots on the LCD and the preview of the clip on the LCD is very blur.

All we did for trial is connected the power cable and the firewire with the MAC. Can anyone please explain as to what might have went wrong. Is it some settings that we have missed or it may be some technical fault with the DVCAM?

It is reminded that we purchased a brand new DVCAM.

Need the reply urgently... Thanks
