Sony DCR VX2100 Price disparity! What gives?	Can't Post

(I have posted this already on the Wedding Videography board)
OK, I have made the decision to buy a VX2100. Problem is, you can get one for $1009.99 or you can pay up to $2500.
I have bought from B&H and others over the years. B&H wants $2300. for one. I am definitely suspicious. Can anyone give me a good reason NOT to get one from one of these other places?

No honest seller can sell the camera for $1099.00. It ABSOLUTLY is a scam. Repeat ABSOLUTLY a scam. The dealer cost for such a unit is at least in the high teens of hundreds if not $2000 or more.
These lowlifes are bait-n-switch or selling gray market or refirb units stripped of all accessories that are supposed to come with them and then whack you exorbinite costs for the stuff with insane shipping costs - if you will ever see the goods.
Your momma told you before that if it it looks too good to be true, then...........

Always check with "Resellers Ratings" to see how crappy these dealers are.
