Sony VX2000 repair Can't Post

I'm looking for a repair shop that isn't Sony to repair my VX2000 which records a very yellow-green picture. I had the same problem with my PD-150 several months ago and sent it to the Sony factory service for repair. It was quick but expensive. The VX2000 repair is actually less money to fix the same problem. $461.00 for the VX2000 while the PD150 was $550.00 to repair. Interestingly enough the cameras were purchased several months apart and developed the same problem - several month apart. What a coincidence!
I don't believe my problem falls into the paramaters of the Sony CCD block class action suit. The pictures on their website don't look like my problem.

George I'm using the same place as listed above for 'my' 2100 problem (different than yours). I was referred to them by Joel Peregrine. I'll be sending it in next week.

Ironicly enough I actually HAVE an extended Mack warranty on the 2100 but from the horror stories Mark VonLanken told about his dealings with them I'm reluctant to actually utilize it.

For now on when B&H asks me to purchase an extended warranty...I'LL PASS.

I recently had my VX2000 serviced by macievideo.com on Joel's recommendation. I was very happy with the service, beginning with first contact. They stuck to their original estimate, and had fast turnaround (though I was in no hurry).

Highly recommended

Another option is http://www.armatosvideo.com/ They seem to have a good repair record. :)
