TRV900 or TRV950 ?? Can't Post

Looking to purchase a backup/secondary ceremony cam to my pd-150. I want to spend at least as possible as I will be upgrading to HDV probably by next year. I do need something for this season without breaking the bank. What are the differences between these two cameras and which will match up best to my pd-150. They sort of look the same, size wise, noticed the batteries are different. TRV900 uses same batteries as pd-150 - bonus!
Thanks in advance.

Re: [iimvid] TRV900 or TRV950 ?? [In reply to] Can't Post

I have a trv 900 and use it with 2 VX2000's and a PD170. It's a little tougher to match than the other three but used in a wide angle or in good light, it matches pretty well. I generally use it as a balcony cam or on a high tripod if there is no balcony and set it fairly wide. I've not used a 950 but all the comments indicate it's not as good [as the 900] in low light.

The 900 takes such nice video that I use it as my travel camera. It's size is great so I will not get rid of it until I go HD.
