TRV950 vertical shadows? Can't Post

I'm using the TRV950 to shoot some golf footage. I need to set the speed at 4000+. When I do I get vertical shadows in the image, even in bright sunlight. Anyone know the reason and/or fix for it?

I've seen this happen in many different camera's. The 4000 and higher shutter speeds are essentially a selling feature and will always have poor performance.

Well, I'm the best there is. Plain and simple, when I wake up in the morning I piss excellence.

So, nothing I can do about it?

At 4000+ we can actually capture impact clearly and follow the swing motion in frame/frame clearly.
