Trade vx2000 for 1000 w/ MK1 Can't Post

I have a Vx2000 w/ mx 3000 pro and 2 long life batteries (8 and 11 hours). I am thinking of trading it for a VX1000 w/ MK1 if anyone is interested contact me on AIM at: aws161, email aws161@yahoo.com or post here, thanks!

Why would you trade a vx2000 for a vx1000?

Because the skateboarder videographers are fiercely loyal to the VX1000 and still prefer them to any other camera. I traded one of my VX1000s for a VX2000 2 years ago to a skateboarder and he was thrilled. I sold most of my 7 VX1000s to skateboarder shooters. Still have one left, but can't help 'AWS161' because I don't have the lens he wants with it.

The fisheye "death lens" that he is looking for with the VX1000 runs over $700 new. That narrows the price range considerably.

Yeah, I was watching this auction a while back and hoping to pick it up, but the $$$ got out of hand quickly. Sold for $630.00. Wow.
I understand the lens, but why is the VX1000 preferred? Is it a size or balance thing?

no, it's just that the sound/picture quality of the vx1000 is much more desirable for skateboarding + the fisheye is a lot better

I am interested in buying it. Send me an email with the price of it to dcridr24@aol.com. (that is if you want to sell it still)
