VX1000E - Menu doesn't work	Can't Post

Hi,
i have a problem with my VX1000E Camcorder. It doesn't show the menu. When i press the menu button nothing happens. Consequently i can't change any settings for example the TimeCode or i think that the autofocus is turned off. Does anybody know about this problem and has some hints?

just sounds like the either the menu button or the wiring/solder that conects it to the ciruit board is dead.
take it apart or take it some where and they will sort it for you.
