VX1000 AC Adapter Can't Post
The original AC power adapter/charger for my VX1000 has gone bad. Was wondering what replacements are available... model number(s) and vendors would be very helpful.

The model is AC-L10A, part #1-475-599-15, you can get it from Sony directly for $69.95

How about the camcorder power cable that comes with that adapter... does it fit the VX1000 jack? I assume it serves as a battery charger as well... correct?

Sony has a replacement AC adapter/charger that takes the place of the orginal unit (AC-V515). The new model # is AC-V615. I found a new one on e-bay for under $20. Just do a search for AC-V615. I got mine from a company called adeal.com. It came with a battery eliminator which I probably will not use because the original camcorder cable that came with my VX-1000 works with this unit.
